May 10, 2007 - arenafootball2 (af2)
Manchester Wolves News Release

The Manchester Wolves will be looking to get back to..500 with a win over their East Division Rival Albany Conquest tomorrow night at 7:05 pm on Brady Sullivan Field at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H.

The Wolves are currently riding a franchise record five straight home game wins and will be looking to extend it to six with a win over the Conquest in their 16th all-time match up. Manchester holds a 8-7 all-time series lead over Albany.

A win would not only bring the Wolves to..500 at 3-3, but would up Ben Bennett's all-time win total one step closer to the coveted 50-win plateau. Bennett currently sits tied for 5th all-time in the arenafootball2 league with his 48 wins while Rich Ingold, head coach of the Wilkes-Barre Pioneers, is also two away at 48. Both Bennett and Ingold are entering their fifth seasons as head coaches in the af2.

Manchester will enter the match up with gunslinger Ryan Porter, who is now 2-1 as a starter, as their starter after an off night in the Wolves loss against the Pioneers last Friday in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Porter threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns while also throwing two interceptions (his first of the year) before being replaced by backup Brian Zbydniewski. Porter will go against af2 rookie Ryan Hart who has thrown for 1,327 yards, 32 touchdowns and just one interception for the Conquest. Hart currently ranks in the Top Ten in three league categories.
