Manchester Deals Vermont Second Loss

The Vermont Frost Heaves suffered their second loss of the season tonight, falling to the Manchester Millrats 115-109.

Anthony Anderson scored 29 points, including six three-pointers, as Manchester stormed back from a 27-point deficit late in the first quarter.

Vermont had four players in double digits with Terrance Green bringing home 33 points, four assists and eight steals. B.J. Robertson, Issa Konare and Antonio Burks all scored in double figures. John Bryant took down 12 boards in the effort.

Green netted 17 of his points in the first quarter, when Manchester was hit with three of its five technical fouls, including two on coach Larry Lessett, who was ejected.

Anderson added six assists and four steals for the Millrats, who improved to 9-1.

Vermont (6-2) will return to the Barre Aud on Saturday Dec. 8 to take on the Quebec Kebekwa at 2:05 p.m.
