Manatees Weekend

September 4, 2009 - Florida State League (FSL1)
Brevard County Manatees News Release

Here's what's going on at the park this weekend:

Friday, Sept. 4th vs. Tampa Yankees 7:05pm

Boy Scouts from around the area will be here to celebrate Labor Day weekend. Any kid in their scout uniform can get tickets for $2 and their family members can get tickets for $5. Also, the folks from Source of Safety will be checking to make sure car seats are properly installed for your little Manatees fan. There is no cost to this service.

Saturday, Sept. 5th vs. Tampa Yankees 7:05pm

It's Fan Appreciation Night at SCS! We're going to hand out several different giveaway items to the first couple hundred fans that enter the stadium gates. More importantly, the Manatees will have a very special announcement to make during the game. Make sure to be the first on your block to know the news.

Sunday, Sept. 6th vs. Tampa Yankees 1:05pm

Time to put on the board shorts and the zinc oxide.....it's Sunday Funday! The 'Tees will try to make a statement against the Baby Bombers in the last regular season game. Please note the games start time, 1:05pm.

Playoff Info

Season Ticket Holders can use any remaining season tickets for any playoff games. If you're a STH and don't have any remaining, just show your STH card at the box office to get tickets. If you no longer have your ID card, just call the box office at 321-633-9200 and let them know.

We're also planning a road trip to Game 1 of the playoffs in Tampa on Tuesday, Sept. 8th. We will be leaving Gate 4 at Space Coast Stadium at 2pm that afternoon. If you'd like to join us and jump in one of the vehicles, please make sure to be at SCS by 2pm. We will be tailgating prior to the game and driving back immediately following the contest.

Here's how the FSL playoff schedule looks:

Game 1, 9/8, Brevard vs. Tampa, 7:00pm

Game 2, 9/9 Tampa vs. Brevard, 7:05pm

Game 3, 9/10 Tampa vs. Brevard, 7:05pm (if necessary)

If the Manatees were to advance to the Championship Round, we would host Games 1 and 2 (Fri & Sat) with Games 3, 4, and 5 being in either Ft. Myers or Port Charlotte.

That's all for now. We'll see ya at the park.
