DENVER - Players from the Colorado Mammoth lacrosse team and members of the Wild Bunch dance team will make a special visit to the Aurora Ronald McDonald House on Wednesday, August 26 from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

The players and dancers will host an ice-cream social, distribute items, sign autographs and spend time with children and their families. "The Colorado Mammoth players, coaches, Wild Bunch and our great fans are a family affair," said Colorado Mammoth Director of Operations, Josh Gross. "Helping other families in need of some relief from everyday life is what we, as a team, are all about."

The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home-away-from-home" for families needing to be near their seriously ill children while being cared for in local hospitals. The grassroots-driven organization makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of chapters in 52 countries.

The 76,000 square-foot Aurora House, which comfortably houses up to 45 families per night, opened its doors in 2008 and is one of two locations in metro Denver. In addition to providing shelter for families, the Ronald McDonald house offers college scholarships, community grants benefitting children and a mountain summer camp for kids with cancer.
