Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that it will host a "ËTrash Can Lax' lacrosse tournament, the first of its kind, on Saturday, September 8 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. The 3-on-3 tournament, which will feature tipped-over trash cans in place of regulation-sized goals, is open to male and female participants of all ages and skill levels.
""ËTrash Can Lax' is a fast-paced, exciting new version of the sport that prioritizes skill development and having fun," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett.
Participants will compete in U.S. and Canada lacrosse pinnies as a precursor to the evening's "ËDuel in Denver', which pits the countries' men's national teams against each other in an international exhibition on the stadium field.
Team registration is now open for the "ËTrash Can Lax' tournament. The $40 per-player fee includes a four-game guarantee and a reversible pinnie. For additional tournament information, rules and to register, visit ColoradoMammoth.com or call 303.575.1906.
Tickets to the "ËDuel in Denver' are on sale now at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park box office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com, or by calling 303.53.HORSE.
