DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth will take one step closer to Opening Night this weekend when it holds a three-day training camp beginning Saturday at the team's practice facility in Westminster.
With its Dec. 30 season-opening game at home against the Philadelphia Wings only a month away, the Mammoth continues to shape its roster.
"We're looking forward to a very competitive, high-energy camp," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "There will be a great deal of talent on the floor this weekend and we're excited to see what these guys can do."
The Mammoth will have 32 players participating in training camp. The roster must be cut to 23 players by Dec. 23, with an additional three players assigned to the practice squad.
All sessions will be held at the Westminster Sports Center, 6051 W. 95th Ave. Sunday's session is open to the public.
