Mammoth Claims Division Title and Playoff Game
April 13, 2003 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
Denver, Colo. - The Colorado Mammoth has stampeded into the National Lacrosse League playoffs and tickets to this Saturday's first round game at Pepsi Center go on sale Wednesday (4/16) at noon.
A loss to the Toronto Rock today would've ended the Mammoth season without a playoff run. Instead, the 13-10 Mammoth win at Air Canada Centre gives the Mammoth the Eastern Division Championship, a number three seed in the NLL playoffs and home field advantage for the first game. The Colorado Mammoth will host the NLL Playoffs Quarterfinals Round as the Mammoth takes on the visiting Vancouver Ravens at 8 p.m. Saturday April 19. Round One consists of one game only, as do all rounds in the NLL playoffs. Future rounds will go on sale at the conclusion of the round.
Tickets range from $9 to $37 and orders are limited to 12 tickets per household. Additionally, a limited number of Playoff Party Packs will be sold for $49 and include four tickets, four hot dogs and four beverages.
Playoff tickets go on sale at noon Wednesday at the Pepsi Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Tickmaster.com or by phone at 303.830-TIXS or 719.520.9090.
Six teams make the NLL playoffs. Next weekend's Round One/Quarterfinals games are followed by the Semi-Finals Round (April 25-27) and then the National Championship game for the Champion's Cup (May 2-4).
