DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that forwards Casey Powell and John Grant Jr. will be joined at the team's inaugural summer camp by fellow Mammoth players John Gallant and Jamie Lincoln. Head coach Bob Hamley will also serve as a lead instructor, as will University of Denver goaltender Jamie Faus and former Salisbury University captain Kyle Burto.
"We've compiled a collection of the game's greatest lacrosse players and coaches that will help participants improve their on-field performance," said Mammoth president and general manager Steve Govett.
Lauren Benner, a University of Denver women's lacrosse assistant coach, is the camp's girls' instructor.
The camp, which will be held this Monday and Tuesday, July 29-30, at Cornerstone Park in Englewood, Colo., is nearly sold out. Remaining spots are open to seven- to 18-year-old boys and girls of all skill levels. Registration is limited only by age and number or participants.
