Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced on Thursday that all 16 of its games this season will be broadcast live on radio. The games will air on KKFN-AM 950 (The Fan) or sister station KEPN-AM 1600 (ESPN Radio).
"Having all games - home and away - available on the radio is an important part of the Mammoth's relationship with its fans," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "We couldn't be happier about KKFN and KEPN being able to broadcast our games this season."
Coverage of the Mammoth's season opener against the Calgary Roughnecks at Pepsi Center will be live this Saturday at 7 p.m. on AM 950 The Fan.
Matt Williamson will make his debut as the Mammoth radio announcer on Saturday and call every game this season. Williamson is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he announced Syracuse Orange football and basketball for WAER radio. He then spent three years announcing Wayne State University football and basketball in Detroit before moving to Denver.
