Mammoth Adds Ball to Defensive Arsenal
December 23, 2013 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth bolstered its roster on Monday, signing Dan Ball to a one-agreement agreement and adding Mike McNamara to the Practice Player List. Both contracts are pending league approval.
"We knew that there would be good lacrosse players available last week once teams were forced to name their 20-man rosters," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. "Dan and Mike are solid additions to our team on the defensive end."
Ball played the last two seasons in Minnesota; McNamara was in Buffalo. They are both left-handed defensemen who hail from Ontario.
Defenseman Chet Koneczny was released, and then signed to a practice squad contract (pending league approval).
