Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the team has activated forward Joey Cupido from the practice squad. A fifth-round selection in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft, Cupido is the ninth rookie to earn a spot on Colorado's 23-man roster this year.
"Our rookies have shined this season," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. "On Saturday, Joey will get his opportunity."
The team also announced that defenseman Jarett Park, a seven-year veteran, has been played on the Injured Reserve List. He was hurt this past weekend in Colorado's final regular-season home game.
Cupido and the Mammoth take on the Minnesota Swarm in the teams' regular-season finale on Saturday at 5:30pm at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. The game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
The Mammoth and Swarm will also meet the first weekend in May on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center in Denver for the West Division Semifinal. Tickets are on sale now at the Pepsi Center box office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com, or by phone at 303.53.HORSE.
