All-American Weekend

The Mallards suffered a pair of one-goal setbacks at the hands of league-leading Allen last weekend. Quad City did earn one point for last Friday's 4-3 shootout loss, a game that saw the Mallards rally from a 3-0 deficit with less than seven minutes left in the third period to force overtime. One night later it was the Mallards who were unable to hold a lead, as Quad City jumped out to a 2-0 advantage before falling 3-2.

Home Sweet Home

The Mallards last weekend completed a four game homestand and a stretch that saw Quad City play six of seven games on home ice. The Mallards went 1-2-1 on the homestand and have gone 2-3-1 at home this season.
