Arizona's Kyle Chipchura Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (November 12, 2012) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Arizona Sundogs forward Kyle Chipchura has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending November 11, 2012.

The veteran forward helped the Sundogs to a perfect 3-0 week with three straight wins over the Denver Cutthroats. Chipchura finished with two goals and six assists and was a +7 over the three contests. He started the week with three assists in a 5-3 win over Denver on Wednesday and then had one helper in Friday's win and two goals and two assists in Saturday's victory.

The Westlock, Alberta native leads the Sundogs in scoring with 13 points (2-11=13) and leads the entire CHL with a +11 plus/minus rating.

Chipchura is a veteran of 216 National Hockey League games and last season played 53 games with the Sundogs NHL affiliate, the Phoenix Coyotes, where he scored three goals with 13 assists.
