
Mallards to Visit Indy for October 11 Preseason Game

MOLINE, Ill. (August 19, 2015) - The Quad City Mallards will play a preseason game against the Indy Fuel on Sunday, October 11 at 2:05 p.m. in Indianapolis, the Mallards announced today.
Their match-up with the Fuel at Indiana Farmers Coliseum will be the Mallards' only preseason game. That tilt will also be the Mallards' first ever meeting with the Fuel, who entered the ECHL as an expansion club last season.
The Mallards and Fuel have both moved to the ECHL's new Midwest Division- along with the Cincinnati Cyclones, Evansville IceMen and Fort Waye Komets- for the coming season. The Flock and Fuel will meet ten times during the regular season.
The Mallards will begin their nineteenth regular season- and their second in the ECHL- on the road against the defending champion Allen Americans on Friday, October 16 before returning to the Quad Cities to play their home opener on Friday, October 23 at 7:05 p.m. against the Tulsa Oilers.
