Mallards To Help Out At Area Hardee's, Meet Fans Tomorrow, Wednesday

MOLINE, Ill. (March 22, 2010) - The Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, today announced that as part of the club's partnership with Hardee's©, Mallards players will continue their series of visits to area Hardee's restaurants tomorrow at Hardee's in Geneso, Illinois and DeWitt, Iowa from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mallards will then also help out at Hardee's restaurants in Abingdon and Galesburg, Illinois, Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Mallards players tomorrow will be on hand to meet fans and lend a hand to staff at Hardee's restaurants at 2163 Oakwood Avenue in Geneseo and at 709 Sixth Avenue in DeWitt. The Mallards' visits will continue Wednesday when players will spend time at Hardee's at 712 N. Monroe in Abingdon and 913 East Main in Galesburg.

The Mallards and Hardee's have also partnered on a host of other initiatives this season. The Hardee's "Biscuit in the Basket" promotion delivers coupons good for free Hardee's Made from Scratch=99 Biscuits to a different row of a section randomly selected at each home game for each goal scored by the Mallards at the i wireless Center this season. If the Mallards score at least four goals in a home game, the entire designated section wins free biscuits. The Hardee's logo has been painted on the ice inside the nets at the i wireless Center to serve as a most appropriate target for Mallards marksmen this season.

The Mallards return to action Saturday night in Muskegon. The Mallards next play at home on Sunday, March 28 at 4:05 p.m. against the Dayton Gems. March 28 is another Mallards Family Skate Night- fans can bring their skates and join the Mallards on the ice after the game.

The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. through the end of the second period.
