
Mallards Partner with Genesis Health System to Raise $27,175

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, this evening partnered with Genesis Health System to raise $27,175 for the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House through the 15th Annual Mallards Jersey Auction following the Mallards' game against the Bloomington PrairieThunder at the i wireless Center.
The Mallards wore special edition black third jerseys during the game and those sweaters went up for bid in the live auction immediately after the contest. The highest bidding was for the jersey of the Mallards' Jerad Kaufmann, which was auctioned off for $4,000.
Over the last 15 years Mallards jersey auctions have raised better than $600,000 to benefit local charities.
The Mallards return to action tomorrow afternoon in Muskegon against the Lumberjacks. The Mallards next play at home on Sunday, March 28 at 4:05 p.m. against the Dayton Gems. March 28 is another Mallards Family Skate Night- fans can bring their skates and join the Mallards on the ice after the game.

The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. through the end of the second period.
