Mallards introduce Fun-Raising Program

Moline, IL- The Mallards today introduced a new "Fun-Raising" opportunity that will allow not-for-profit organizations in the Quad Cities to raise funds while receiving great Mallards prizes and having fun!

Under this program, organizations purchase upper bowl tickets ($10.50 per seat) for a discounted price then resell the tickets at face value. Groups participating in the "Fun-Raising" will also receiving Mallards prizes including autographed merchandise and promotional opportunities.

Groups that sell between 100 and 250 tickets will receive $3 off the face value of the ticket. This allows the organization the opportunity to raise between $300 and $750. Prizes at this level include a public address mention to promote the organization during a Mallards game and the opportunity for someone from the group to drop the ceremonial puck.

Organizations that purchase between 251 and 499 tickets get $4 off the face value of the ticket. This gives the group the opportunity to raise between $1,004 and $1,996. Groups that participate at this level receive an autographed stick, autographed jersey and an opportunity to ride the zamboni during a Mallards game.

When groups purchase 500 or more tickets, they will receive 50% off the face value of the ticket. The group will raise at least $2,625 when participating at this level. The organization will receive two autographed sticks, a pair of autographed jerseys, a table on the concourse during a Mallards game and a live radio interview during a Mallards home game.

Mallards season tickets are on sale now. Fans that purchase tickets by September 30th will have their season ticket price locked in for as long as they continue to renew their season seat. For each season ticket sold before the September 30th deadline, the Mallards will contribute $100 to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities. The Mallards open the 2005-06 season on Friday, October 21st in Flint vs. the Generals. The 11th home opener in franchise history is slated for Saturday, October 22nd vs. the Motor City Mechanics. Keep checking qcmallards.com for updated news on all team events.
