2010-2011 Mallards School Programs:
The Mallards are very excited to announce four new school programs for the 2010-2011 season. With a variety of programs available for schools to choose from, there are many ways the Mallards can positively impact student behavior. The initiatives are designed to help motivate and reward students for their hard work and excellence in the classroom. Information packets are being sent to area schools in the following weeks. The Mallards are proud to recognize achievements of Quad City area children in public, private, and home schools through the following four programs:
- Blades for Grades Program: To promote the importance of positive academic habits, this incentive program rewards students for earning the honor roll. Academic achievers will be rewarded with tickets to a Mallards Blades for Grades Night to recognize their accomplishment. - Hat Trick for Reading Program: The Hat Trick for Reading Program is designed to stimulate interest in reading among elementary and middle school children. Each student will receive a Mallards bookmark, and those who read at least three books in a specified period will be recognized for their "hat trick" by receiving admission to a Hat Trick for Reading Night at a Mallards game. - All-Star Attendance Program: Promoting the importance of staying in school and developing positive attendance practices, the All-Star Attendance Program recognizes students who achieve outstanding attendance levels as set by their respective school. Students are rewarded with certificates of achievement and a ticket to an All-Star Attendance Night at a Mallards game.
- Games for Goals Program: In efforts to recognize student achievements big or small, the Mallards have designed the Games for Goals Program. This program is based on the premise that with effort, everyone can improve in some capacity. Students who achieve their teacher-set objectives will receive a certificate of accomplishment and admission to an Games for Goals Night at a Mallards game.
