Canadian Pacific Holiday Train

The Mallards were proud to take part in the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train last weekend. Mascot Mo Mallard took the stage to present Churches United of the Quad Cities food collected from the November 26th home game food drive and visited with fans in attendance.

Dispatch Good Fellow and Argus Santa Fund Nights

The Mallards' home games on both December 17 and December 18 will help support the Dispatch Good Fellow and Argus Santa holiday fund. $1 from every ticket purchased at the box office for the two games will be donated to the holiday fund, which marks 103 years of helping needy Quad Cities area families and seniors have a brighter holiday season.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing

The entire Mallards team will take part in the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Christmas Campaign next Tuesday, December 14. Mallards players will be stationed at both Northpark and Southpark Malls from 4-8pm ringing bells for the good cause. The Red Kettle Christmas Campaign enables the Salvation Army to provide food, toys and clothing to over 6 million people throughout the holiday season and assists more than 34 million Americans recover from disasters nationwide all year long.

Youth Hockey Clinics

In efforts to help guide and teach the next generation of hockey players in the Quad City area, Mallards players are offering monthly youth hockey in-season tune-up and maintenance camps. Led by Mallards' goalie Adam Russo, the Mallards are excited to share their experience and love for the game with young hockey players in the Quad Cities. Upcoming Events

Saturday, December 11- CASI Light Up the Holidays Family Event: Mo Mallard will join in the holiday fun at CASI's holiday family festival, which runs from 8am-4pm at CASI in Davenport. Free activities include crafts, a magic show, hot chocolate, face painting and more.

Sunday, December 12- Post-game Family Skate: Following the December 12 tussle against the Fort Wayne Komets, fans are invited to a post-game family skate with the Mallards. Anyone may bring their skates and visit with their favorite players!

Sunday, December 12- Post-game Party at Chili's: Proceeding the post-game family skate, Mallards fans are invited to join the team for a post-game party at Chili's in Davenport. Chili's is located on 53rd Street right off of I-74 in Davenport, Iowa.

Tuesday, December 14- Salvation Army Bell Ringing: From 4-8 pm you will find Mallards players ringing bells at both the Northpark and Southpark Mall red kettle donation sites. Stop by and visit with the Mallards. They might even stop bell ringing long enough to sign an autograph or take a picture!

Wednesday, December 15- The Arc of Rock Island Holiday Party: Select Mallards players will attend The Arc's Holiday Party to visit, take pictures and sign autographs. The Arc works in partnership with the community to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Looking Ahead

The Mallards look forward to a busy schedule between now and the end of the year. The team will host four home games before Christmas alone. The next home game will be a Mallards Family Day, presented by APAC Customer Services, Inc. and Mix 96. Families can purchase four tickets anywhere in the arena, four hot dogs and four drinks for only $34. Game action against the Fort Wayne Komets will begin at 4:05 pm. Fans are invited to participate in a post- game skate with the team and a post-game party at Chili's in Davenport following the skate.
