Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors have traded forward Brendan McCann to the Windsor Spitfires in exchange for a eleventh round draft pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.
McCann, 17, is entering his second season in the Ontario Hockey League. The 5'11", 174 pound left winger is a native of Windsor. Last season, McCann appeared in 11 games for the Majors; netting 2 goals for 2 points. He was a plus 1 and also served 2 penalty minutes. Brendan also appeared in 48 games last season with the Dixie Beehives of the CCHL where he scored 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points.
