Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors kicked off their home-and-home series with the Rangers tonight, as they traveled to Kitchener to play their fourth exhibition game of the year. Unfortunately, the Majors couldn't quite find their legs this evening, as they were defeated 3-1.

The Rangers opened up the 1st period, with a lone goal coming from Alexei Dostoinov, to grab a quick 1-0 lead.

However, Mississauga found the equalizer in the 2nd period, when William Wallén scored 2:23 into the frame with help from Anthony Tapper and Jordan Mayer.

Unfortunately, in the 3rd period, Kitchener's Jason Akeson connected at 16:41 to give the home team a 2-1 lead, before T.J. Battani wired a shot into the net for the Rangers shortly after to end the affair.

JP Anderson got the start in net for Mississauga and made an impressive 40 saves, while Josh Unice stopped 16 shots for Kitchener.
