
Majors Complete Trade with Bulls

TORONTO, ON (June 5, 2006) - Now that the OHL trading period has resumed, the Majors have finalized their May 5th trade with the Belleville Bulls which saw St. Mike's receive a 2nd Round pick in 2006 in exchange for a 2nd Round pick in 2007. The Majors will also be sending winger Tyler Donati to the Bulls and receiving forward Scott Baker in return.
Baker, a 5'11", 175 lb. native of Mactier, Ontario, enjoyed a breakout campaign last year. He finished 2nd on the team in points during the regular season with 45, to go along with his 47 penalty minutes. He then added another 3 points in 6 playoff games. During the 2004-05 regular season, he notched 9 points and 8 penalty minutes with the Bulls. Scott was originally picked in the 6th Round of the 2003 OHL Priority Selection by the Oshawa Generals.
Donati finished the 2005-06 regular season 3rd on the Majors in goals (36) and 4th in points (72). He then added another 3 points during the playoff loss to Barrie. He finished his Majors career with 99 points in 110 total games.
The 2006-07 campaign will represent the last year of OHL eligibility for Donati while Baker has two seasons remaining.
