Published on July 14, 2023 under Major League Soccer (MLS) News Release

On Monday, July 17th, Major League Soccer will join First Lady Jill Biden for a youth soccer clinic with children and families on the South Lawn of the White House as part of the Biden-Harris Administration's efforts to highlight how sports unites us, and supports and empowers young people.

The clinic will be led by MLS All-Stars and feature a series of skills training stations and scrimmages for young athletes brought together by Washington, DC's Department of Parks and Recreation - a future League operator of MLS GO. MLS GO is the League's recreational youth soccer program designed to increase participation, accessibility, and inclusivity for both all children in soccer across the United States.

The event will include remarks from the First Lady, plus members of the MLS soccer community, MLS Greats (former players), and owners, as well as officials from the Biden-Harris Administration. The clinic will kick off the League's All-Star Week festivities in Washington, D.C.
