
Main Camp Yields Return of Eight Players from 2012-13 Season

Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release
The Port Huron Fighting Falcons held their Main Tryout Camp last weekend at Mt. Clemens Ice Arena in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Nearly 120 players showcased their skills for coaches and scouts in hopes of earning their way to Port Huron for training camp.
Six teams comprised of players from nearly 20 states and five different countries took part in practices and scrimmage games Friday and Saturday before the field was trimmed down to two all-star teams.
From the all-star game, 32 players earned invitations to the Fighting Falcons' training camp, slated for late August and early September in Port Huron.
Of the 32 players on the team's training camp roster, eight are players who ended the 2012-13 season with the Fighting Falcons. Those players include:
FORWARDS
Vito Aluia: The Warren, MI native appeared in 52 games with the Fighting Falcons last season, tallying 20 points on eight goals and 12 assists.
Alex Archibald: Archibald, who primarily played defense in the 2012-13 season, is a Port Huron resident who has played the last two seasons for his hometown team. Archibald played 52 games with the Fighting Falcons last year, with 13 points on three goals and ten assists.
Zach Badalamenti: One of Port Huron's 2012 NAHL Draft picks, Badalamenti appeared in 35 games last season before being sidelined with injuries. The Harrison Township native netted four goals to go with ten assists in 2012-13
Nick Horne: A Marysville, MI native, Horne was fifth in scoring on last season's team, as is the team's highest scoring returner with 28 points on 11 goals and 17 assists.
Mitch Maloney: Maloney, a Macomb, MI native, played 53 games with the Fighting Falcons last season, with 20 points on ten goals and ten assists.
DEFENSEMEN
Bobby Brown: A 6'5" defenseman, Brown earned a +6 rating while tallying a goal and four assists in 41 games last year. Brown comes back to Port Huron from Peoria, Arizona.
Jon Kopacka: A native of Metamora, MI, Kopacka missed just five games last season, earning a +7 rating to go with two goals and ten assists.
GOALIE
Max Milosek: Port Huron's all-time leader in wins, Milosek will return for his third season between the pipes for the Fighting Falcons. A Lapeer, MI native, Milosek got the bulk of the playing time for the Fighting Falcons last season, with a 22-16-1-2 record in 39 appearances.
