October 29, 2013 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Minnesota Magicians News Release
The Minnesota Magicians are delighted to announce a partnership with a non-profit animal rescue program, Secondhand Hounds. Since being founded in 2009, the Edina-based organization has found homes for nearly 5000 displaced animals in need of loving families. Second Hand Hounds prides itself on being an animal rescue that provides animals with loving foster homes prior to adoption. On November 8, as The Magicians take on the Janesville Jets, Secondhand Hounds will present a number of dogs, cats, and other critters that are available for adoption at the time of the game.
In regards to the event, Director of Team Operations Joe Scanlon stated, "Secondhand Hounds is an outstanding organization, and we are proud to help promote their cause. If we can help even one animal find a happy home, then we have made a positive impact in our community."
