Magic Hope to Bounce Back at Home

McALLEN, Texas---- Coming off their road loss against the Abilene Ruff Riders 45-36 the Rio Grande Valley Magic look forward to play some home games beginning with the Amarillo Venom.

Wide Receiver Malcolm Williams had a game high of 127 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Quarterback Billy Garza threw for 271 yards and three touchdown passes in defeat. With the loss the Magic have a record of 2-2.

Head Coach Schuyler "Skyler" Anderson said "The last three games have been ultimate test for our team. We have proved to ourselves and the league that we can win on the road. Now we must take care of business at home."

Coach Anderson commented on the upcoming home game against the Venom "I'm just happy to be playing at home. Our guys have jelled together better than one would expect. We finally get to be around our fans and have the home field advantage which is big in this league."

Magic home and away games can be heard on 840 AM Fox Sports Radio with a 15 minute pre-game show hosted by play-by-play voice Ric Miller.

The Magic will have their next home game on Monday, May 21, 2012 as they will host the Laredo Rattlesnakes at the State Farm Arena with the kickoff at 7:05 p.m. Season and individual tickets are available by calling (956) 905-5401 or visiting a ticket master outlet.

The Magic are members of the Lone Star Football League, an independent league of seven professional indoor football teams located in Texas that include Amarillo, Corpus Christi, Laredo, Odessa, Abilene, and Houston.
