'Made in the Hammer' Alternate Brand Returns for 2023
June 7, 2023 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Wednesday, the return of the club's 'Made in the Hammer' alternate brand, including the Hamilton Steel Grey alternate uniform.
The 'Made in the Hammer' alternate brand was created to honour the indelible link between the city of Hamilton and the Tiger-Cats while the Hamilton Steel Grey is an ode to the city's industrial roots. The collar and the helmet stripe feature hammers woven throughout, while the negative space on the iconic H logo creates two hammers to celebrate Hamilton's civic nickname. Traditional black & gold elements feature prominently while the classic leaping tiger can still be seen on the right side of the pants.
Ticats fans will see the 'Made in the Hammer' alternate brand leading up to the Labour Day Classic presented by WeatherTech, culminating when the Tiger-Cats run on to the field in the Hamilton Steel Grey uniforms and take on the Toronto Argonauts at Tim Hortons Field on September 4.The Tiger-Cats will also display the alternate brand on the road for the first time when they wear the alternate jersey on October 7 in Saskatchewan.
Visit the Ticats shop to shop the new 'Made in the Hammer' retail collection.
