Mad Ants to Visit Capital City for Tuesday Playoff Game

March 26, 2023 - NBA G League (G League)
Indiana Mad Ants News Release

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, earned the sixth seed in the NBA G League Eastern Conference Playoffs. They will take on the third seed Capital City Go-Go, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Washington Wizards, on Tuesday in opening round play.

The game will be played at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, March 28 with a 7:30 p.m. eastern tip. The game will be broadcast on NBATV.

The opening round of the playoffs is single elimination with the winner of the Mad Ants and Go-Go advancing to Thursday's Eastern Conference semi final at Delaware.

The Mad Ants finished the regular season with five consecutive wins. That marks the second longest winning streak to finish a regular season in franchise history. The streak helped the team earn their first playoff berth since the 2017-2018 season.

The Mad Ants finished the regular season with an 18-14 record and with 30-20 full season record, including the Showcase Cup portion of the season. Only the 18-14 mark in the regular season played into the playoff race.

The trio of Indiana Pacers two-way player Trevelin Queen, as well as Gabe York and Justin Anderson became the NBA G League's first trio of players to all average 20 points or more per game for a full season since 2019-2020. They are just the seventh trio to do so in league history.

Tickets for the game in Washington D.C. can be purchased on Ticketmaster, by calling the ticket sales office at (202) 864-4350 or emailing ticketsales@capitalcitygogo.com for more information.
