Halifax Mooseheads News Release
The Halifax Mooseheads announced today that Assistant Coach Jeff MacLeod has decided to step down from his role with the team to pursue another opportunity outside of the Hockey Club. Macleod, a native of Dartmouth, will remain with the team in a scouting capacity as the team prepares for the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft in June. The Mooseheads will have 5 picks in the top 40 selections of this draft.
'We thank Jeff for his contribution to the team and look forward to the insight he will provide us for a very important upcoming draft this June", stated GM/Head Coach Cam Russell.
Assistant Coach and former Mooseheads player Jason Troini will step in to replace MacLeod on the bench for all home games.
