M-Braves Home Opener Tomorrow Night

Pearl, MS - The M-Braves would like to remind all baseball fans that the Mississippi Braves home-opener for the 2008 season is tomorrow night as the Braves take on the Mobile BayBears in game one of a five-game set.

The Braves home-opening series is packed with promotions for fans to enjoy. April 9th, Opening Night, is presented by Trustmark Bank and the first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a free 2008 M-Braves magnetic schedule. On April 10th, the first 2,500 fans will receive a free Southern League calendar and Friday, April 11th will feature the first Friday Night Fireworks Extravaganza of the season.

The hilarious Myron Noodleman will be in attendance on Saturday, April 12th and on Sunday, April 13th, another 2,500 fans will receive a free Southern League calendar.

Individual game tickets and season tickets are still available for purchase at the M-Braves box office. Season tickets to all 70 M-Braves home games are $750 for dugout level seats and $500 for field level seats.

For the first time in 2008, the M-Braves are featuring the 'Never a Wasted Ticket' program for all season ticket holders. With the 'Never a Wasted Ticket' program, any unused season tickets can be traded in for any Sunday through Thursday game throughout the year.

Individual ticket prices are $12 for dugout level, $8 for field level, and $5 for berm or standing room only tickets.

Sat., April 12 MYRON NOODLEMAN APPEARANCE/CRYSTAL SPRINGS FORD LINCOLN MERCURY VEHICLE DISPLAY/MISSISSIPPI BRAVES SILENT AUCTION-various autographed items from former and present Mississippi Braves and Atlanta Braves players will be auctioned off throughout the game through a silent auction.
