MOLINE, Ill.- Matt Lundin made 22 saves and Michel Beausoleil assisted on two goals and scored the clinching empty netter as the Muskegon Lumberjacks blanked the host Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-0 Saturday night.

The Lumberjacks grabbed the lead they would not relinquish 4:16 into the game on David Rolhf's one timer from the high slot.

Midway through the second period Robin Bouchard's tip in doubled the margin.

Beausoleil finished off the Muskegon win by pumping the puck into the gaping Mallard net with 1:38 left in the third period.

Tomorrow is Military Appreciation Day as the Mallards host the Dayton Gems at 4:05 p.m. Courtesy of Reynolds Ford, tickets to tomorrow's game are available to active military and veterans and their families for just $1.
