Lundgren Third Rox Pitcher to Win Weekly Award

DURHAM, NC - PA-Sportsticker, the official statistician of the Can-Am League, has selected New Hampshire OF Jerod Edmondson and Brockton Rox RHP Wayne Lundgren as the Teamline Direct Batter and Pitcher of the Week.

Edmondson batted .409 with three home runs and seven RBI in six games this past week. He scored seven runs to go along with nine hits, two doubles and a slugging percentage of .909. In the 10-1 win over the Brockton Rox Saturday, Edmondson went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI. On the season, the Johnson City, NY resident is batting .325 with 10 home runs, 30 RBI and 54 hits. He is currently second in slugging percentage (.572) and tied for second in extra base hits (21).

Lundgren threw a complete game shutout in the 10-0 over the American Defenders of New Hampshire Wednesday. He gave up two walks and six hits while striking out six New Hampshire batters. The Aussie is 5-4 on the season with a 2.88 ERA. He is fourth in the Can-Am League in earned run average.
