Lumberjacks Announce Schedule Change

Bangor Lumberjacks News Release


Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks, proud members of the Northeast League, announced today that there will be some changes to the last weekend on the regular season for the club.

The club will play a doubleheader against the North Shore (MA) Spirit on Friday, August 29 beginning at 5 PM. There will not be a game on Saturday, August 30 due to a conflict with a University function on the campus in Orono. The Lumberjacks will continue the series with the Spirit on Sunday, August 31 at 7 PM, with the regular season concluding against North Shore on Monday, September 1 with a game at 2 PM.

The Lumberjacks open the 2003 campaign on the road against the Allentown (PA) Ambassadors on Thursday, May 22, but return to Bangor for the home opener on Friday, May 30 at 7 PM against the New Jersey Jackals at Mahaney Diamond.
