Lumberjacks Announce Exhibition Games

Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks, a proud member of the Northeast League, announced today that the International Baseball Academy of Japan will highlight the club's 2003 exhibition schedule in preparation for the upcoming season.
The Jacks will face the IBA on Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30 PM and again on Wednesday, May 14 at 6:30 PM. Both games are at Mahaney Diamond on the campus of the University of Maine in Orono, the 2003 home of the Bangor Lumberjacks.
The Lumberjacks are also currently finalizing a game to be played against the University of Maine's baseball team on May 20 at 6:00 PM if the Black Bears' schedule permits.
The Lumberjacks open the 2003 campaign on the road against the Allentown (PA) Ambassadors on Thursday, May 22, but return to Bangor for the home opener on Friday, May 30 at 7 PM against the New Jersey Jackals at Mahaney Diamond.
