Dayton Silverbacks News Release
After five weeks of preliminaries, one lucky Miami Valley Silverbacks fan will get one shot at winning a one-year lease on a 2008 Suzuki XL7 at halftime of the regular season home finale Friday, May 16 at Hobart Arena.
The winners from each of the previous five weeks earned a shot at winning the SUV in the home finale. One name will be pulled from the list of previous winners. That lucky fan will have one shot at throwing their mini-football through the sunroof for the SUV.
The contestant must be present to earn a chance to win.
The Silverbacks had 16 winners over the previous five weeks. Those winners were:
Week one: Al Bilheimer, Eric Bilheimer and Cody Love. Week two: Blake Baver, Jessica Barnes, Jordan Guillozet and Nikki Montgomery. Week three: Frank Boston, Clayton Spakes, Janet Holmes and Jon Meyer. Week four: Roger Hines and Shad Earick. Week five: Zane Barnes, Jacob Mavs and Malcolm McGray.
Complete contest rules were available at all home games and are posted on Dave Arbogast's website (www.davearbogast.com).
The Silverbacks close out the home portion of their schedule in the midst of the playoff hunt. The Silverbacks (3-5) are tied for the final playoff spot in the Great Lakes Conference with Fort Wayne and Rock River. Their opponent Friday, Kalamazoo (8-1), have already clinched a playoff berth.
