Lucky Number
March 19, 2019 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
San Diego Seals News Release
The Seals' three-game win streak has been highlighted by one lucky number. No, not number six Dan Dawson or number 83 Austin Staats, but the number 13. The number of goals the team has scored to win the past three matchups.
A 13-10 final over the Vancouver Warriors at home sparked the 13-goal streak, followed by an exciting 13-10 win on the road against the Colorado Mammoth. The Seals comeback win against the Philadelphia Wings resulted in a 13-11 final on Saturday night, once again finishing with that lucky number 13.
In the team's inaugural season, the Seals have not lost a game where they have scored less than 13 goals. Garrett Billings, #13, is also having a breakout season for the Seals. After missing the past two NLL seasons, Billings has recorded 12 goals, 34 assists and 46 points on the season and is top-five in both goals and points on the team.
Your first place San Diego Seals take on the reigning NLL champion Saskatchewan Rush on Friday night at Pechanga Arena San Diego at 7 PM PST. Reserve your seats today at SealsLax.com.
