Lubbock Renegades Partner with GAP Broadcasting for 2008 Season

LUBBOCK, TX: October 24, 2007 - The arenafootball2's Lubbock Renegades are pleased to announce they have agreed to a partnership with GAP Broadcasting for the 2008 season, which involves the team's radio marketing campaign and broadcast agreements.
GAP Broadcasting includes FMX (KFMX), Sports Radio 1340 AM (KKAM), KOOL98 (KKCL), The Bear (KQBR), KFYO and Z102 (KZII). The Renegades teamed up with the same stations last season, as the stations operated under the Clear Channel umbrella, so the agreement partners the Renegades with the same stations that assisted their radio marketing efforts last season. The marketing partnership helps promote the Renegades to the South Plains community and also connects Renegades fans to GAP Broadcasting stations for the latest news and Renegades updates. The Renegades and GAP Broadcasting will also take part in cross-promotional events, contests and online specials.
Under the broadcast agreement, Sports Radio 1340 AM (KKAM) will continue to serve as the flagship station for the Lubbock Renegades. GAP Broadcasting will air all Renegades games this season and "The Renegades Hour with Head Coach Rodney Blackshear," which is a weekly program during the season. A detailed release will be sent out once the 2008 schedule is released highlighting the Renegades broadcast times and dates, with Sports Radio 1340 AM taking priority as the broadcast station if no conflicts arise.
