Charleston Lowgators News Release
The Charleston Lowgators have have had quite a start to the 2003-2004 season. The team is currently 15-6 and in first place in the NBDL. The Lowgators come off a thrilling double-overtime 108-107 home victory of the Huntsville Flight last Friday night. Point guard Jason Miskiri hit a game-winning three-pointer with 1.3 seconds left in the second overtime. Alpha Bangura led Charleston with a season-high 27 points and Tierre Brown chipped in with 22.
TIERRE BROWN RETURNS HOME
For the second time in 12 days a Lowgators earned a callup to the NBA. Tierre Brown signed a ten day contract with the New Orleans Hornets on Monday. Brown, a Lousiana native, starred at McNeese State.

IME UDOKA SOAKS UP SUN IN L.A.
Ime Udoka became the first callup of the season for the Lowgators earlier this month when he signed a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Byrant injured his shoulder and Udoka received his first opportunity to play in the NBA. Udoka played in 4 games and he and his sister, Mfon, became the first siblings to play in the NBA and WNBA.

DAMONE BROWN BACK
The Lowgators inserted veteran Damone Brown into the vacated roster spot left by Ime Udoka. Brown didn't miss a beat, responding with 21 points in his first game back with Charleston last Wednesday.
