
Loudoun United Forward Abdellatif Aboukoura Called up to Egypt U-20 Men's Youth National Team

Leesburg, VA. - D.C. United Academy and Loudoun United forward Abdellatif Aboukoura has been selected to the Egypt Youth National Team ahead of the 2022 U-20 Arab Cup. Aboukoura is a part of the roster that will compete in Saudi Arabia from July 20 to August 5.
"It's always an honor to represent the national team," said forward Abdelllatif Aboukoura. "I'm really excited for my first FIFA tournament. I'm looking forward to coming back with some silverware and finishing the season strong with Loudoun United.
The draw for the 2022 Arab Cup U-20 has placed Egypt alongside Oman and Somalia in group D. The tournament, organized by the Union of Arab Football Association, split 18 teams across six groups.
The draw, which took place in Dammam, placed the hosts and reigning champions Saudi Arabia in Group A alongside Iraq and Mauritania, with UAE, Jordan Yemen in Group B. Algeria, Lebanon and Libya were placed in Group D, with Tunisia, Bahrain and Djibouti in Group E, and Morocco, Palestine and Somalia in Group F.
