LouCity Sets Local Broadcast Schedule for 2022

Louisville City FC has re-upped with WDRB Media and ESPN Louisville to air its 2022 USL Championship games across local TV and radio.

Starting with Saturday's 7:30 p.m. season opener against Atlanta United 2, a majority of games can be seen on WBKI - Louisville's CW - and heard on ESPN Louisville's AM 680/FM 105.7.

This marks the sixth straight season WDRB Media and LouCity have partnered on local TV coverage. Along with WBKI, a trio of games are scheduled to air on the Fox affiliate's flagship station, while a few others will appear on MyTV.

"WDRB Media is proud to be the television partner again this season for Louisville City FC," said the station's general manager, Dale Woods. "The collaboration between WDRB Media and LouCity plays a key role for our Louisville community to enable fans to experience the excitement for the game of soccer."

"They are a first-rate organization both on and off the field. We look forward to another great year of broadcasts as the boys in purple battle for USL supremacy once again."

LouCity and ESPN Louisville are entering the second year of their radio partnership. Jeff Milby and Casey Whitfield will serve as this year's commentary team, while the popular "Soccer City" radio show, presented by Kentuckiana Toyota Dealers, returns weekly at 6 p.m. Thursdays with host Jeff Greer.

"ESPN Louisville is pumped to be the radio home again this year for Louisville City FC," said Program Director and Host Andy Sweeney. "To watch the growth of the organization and the radio brand has been great to see, and we're thrilled to be a part of it. We can't wait to see and hear the boys in purple bring home championship No. 3."

Games not selected for national TV will also stream in Louisville through the WDRB Now app. Audio of all LouCity games will be available online at ESPNLouisville.com and through the ESPN Louisville app.
