
Lou City to Host Meet the Team as Part of Community Celebration

Louisville, KY (September 28, 2015) -- As part of the Community Celebration at Against the Grain with Mayor Greg Fischer announced earlier today, Louisville City will host a Meet the Team event where fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2015 Lou City players and coaches. Louisville City finished their inaugural regular season with a second place finish in the United Soccer League, and will play host to the Charleston Battery on Saturday, October 3 in the club's first playoff match.
The festivities start at 5:30 PM in front of the Lou City locker room where general manager Amanda Duffy, head coach James O'Connor, and operating manager Wayne Estopinal will be present to thank fans for their support by the newly installed Founding Members Plaque.
At 6:00 PM Mayor Fischer will make a special announcement about Louisville City outside Against the Grain. Following the press conference Louisville City FC players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Fans will also have an opportunity to purchase tickets for Saturday's Eastern Conference Semifinal match versus Charleston while at the event. Fans who don't want to wait until Thursday can purchase their tickets at LouisvilleCityFC.com/tickets.
