
Lorain County Ironmen Announce Staffing Moves

Lorain, OH-December 15-The Lorain County Ironmen are proud to announce the promotion of Brian McCrodden to the position of General Manager. Brian spent the 2010 season as the assistant General Manager for the Ironmen. Also returning to the Ironmen coaching staff for the 2011 season is Steve Sunagel.
McCrodden came to the Ironmen after spending time working for the Cleveland Sports Commission and the Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland in 2005. Brian graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2006 with a B.A. in sports management. He also earned an M.A. in sports management from the University of South Carolina. McCrodden has also spent time since graduation working with Meredith Camp Events and High Tide Management.
Sunagel also was with the Ironmen in 2010. Steve will assume the role of volunteer assistant coach. He is a member of the Elyria Sports Hall of Fame. In 2001 he started the baseball program at Lorain County Community College. Steve was also the head baseball coach at Elyria High School from 2005-2009.

The Ironmen will play a total of 56 games this summer with 28 scheduled for the Pipe Yard. The Lorain County Ironmen are a member of the Prospect League. The league is one of the several elite summer leagues in the country and has sent over 175 players to the Major Leagues.
