Great Lakes Loons News Release
The Great Lakes Loons today released a map highlighting parking options for game days, along with the stadium guide to services and policies that will help fans make the most of their time at Dow Diamond.
Parking will be $3 on-site at Dow Diamond, where there are about 700 spaces. There are an additional 2,000 spaces in the immediate vicinity at local businesses and public parking lots, many of which are free. Businesses that have offered free parking are Ashman Court Hotel, Chemical Bank, Dirk Waltz Buick, and the Dow Chemical Employees' Credit Union.
With the parking plans, the Loons also released the Dow Diamond stadium guide. This A to Z guide for Dow Diamond provides information to help fans make the most of their Great Lakes Loons game day experience. Some highlights of the guide are as follows:
- Dow Diamond is pleased to be a smoke-free facility. Dow Diamond will include designated smoking areas outside the stadium, and fans will be permitted to leave and re-enter the stadium during Loons games.
- Fans with tickets in the lawn area are welcome to bring blankets, but space for lawn chairs is very limited.
- Outside food and beverages are not allowed at the stadium.
"Our goal is to have a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our fans," said Paul Barbeau, President and General Manager. "The A to Z guide will help guide our guests through their first experiences with Dow Diamond."
The Dow Diamond stadium guide and the parking guide are available online at www.loons.com.
With just 31 days to the home opener, ticket packages are still available for 68 of the Loons' home games and start at $68 for an 8-game package. Season tickets are still available as well. Individual tickets are $6 for lawn seats and $8.50 for reserved seats. The Great Lakes Loons are a single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League.
