Great Lakes Loons News Release

As Dow Diamond nears its completion, the Great Lakes Loons are shifting their team operations to the brand-new, $33 million facility. With the transition come changes to our day-to-day ticket sales, merchandising, and online operations.

On Friday evening, we will be moving our computer server from our downtown Midland offices to the ballpark. During this transition, our team website - Loons.com - and our company e-mail will be inoperable. We hope to have our internet and e-mail operations functional by Saturday evening. Please make alternate arrangements to contact Loons staff members between Friday and Saturday evenings.

On Thursday evening, our Loon Loft team store location in the Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw began its relocation to its permanent home at the stadium. The store will reopen April 13 at 5pm prior to the Loons' first home game. We will continue to process orders on our online store at Loons.com, but please be aware that due to the transition, orders may take longer to process than normal.

On April 9, the Loons ticket office at 215 East Main Street in Midland also will relocate to its permanent home at Dow Diamond. On that date, fans can purchase and pick up Loons individual, group and season tickets directly at the ballpark. Loons' tickets sales will continue through the transition at Loons.com.

Also with the move comes a change of address for the organization. Please send all mail for the Loons to: 825 East Main Street; Midland, MI 48640. The Loons telephone number will remain 989-837-BALL (2255).

The Great Lakes Loons are a Single-A Minor League Baseball team in the Midwest League and are owned and operated by the non-profit Michigan Baseball Foundation. For more information, visit Loons.com.
