Logan Stutz & Doug Herring Jr. Named NBLC Co-Players of the Week

December 27, 2015 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) News Release


The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Logan Stutz of the Niagara River Lions, and Doug Herring Jr. of the Saint John Mill Rats, have been named Co-Players of the Week for the week ending December 27, 2015.

This is the first time that the league has designated "Co-Players" of the week.

Logan Stutz, a 6'9" forward who played collegiately at Washburn, averaged 23.5 points and 12 rebounds in two Niagara River Lions games this weekend, including the team's first-ever win, a 106-104 Sunday night home victory over the London Lightning.

Doug Herring Jr., a 6'7" guard who played collegiately at Utica (N.Y.), put together 21.5 points per game in two Saint John Mill Rats victories. Herring also averaged 6 assists in both contests.
