(ST CATHERINES, Ontario) - Sunday evening, in front of 2,819 fans at the Meridian Centre in St. Catherines, the London Lightning were defeated by the Niagara River Lions, 106-104.
The Lightning now stand at 1-1.
Leading all scorers Sunday was Tyshawn Patterson with 25 points. Stephen Maxwell added 23 points and eight rebounds and Kevin Loiselle scored 17 points.
The Lightning play their next game at home on Tuesday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. against the Windsor Express. The Lightning will then host back to back games next weekend against the Orangeville A's Saturday night and the Windsor Express Sunday afternoon.
