More than forty players from Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and beyond will prove their lacrosse skills in drills and exercises to see if they have what it takes to be the newest Jax player. The hopefuls will pour their hearts out for a chance to be a professional athlete in 2006 and play in front of thousands beginning in January at the Rose Garden.

Head Coach Derek Keenan and signed players including Adam Bysouth, Peter, Richard, and David Morgan will be on hand to look for undiscovered talent from the region. All in attendance will be available for interviews during the tryouts.

The new expansion team will get under way at home in the Rose Garden on Saturday, January 21 at 7:30p against the Colorado Mammoth, with the first game in Arizona on Friday, January 13.

Tickets to the LumberJax for each of the nine home games range from $10.00-$25.00, with additional VIP seating available. Deposits are now being accepted for season tickets starting at $90.00, by calling 503.797.9739 or go to www.PortlandJax.com. Season tickets will also be sold at the open tryouts on Saturday.
