Local Hyundai Dealers Renew Sponsorship with the New York Power

New York Power News Release
New York, NY - The New York Power have announced that the NY, NJ & CT Hyundai Dealers have renewed their sponsorship for the 2003 season in order to leverage Hyundai's national sponsorship of the WUSA.
For the third straight year, Hyundai will sponsor a "Hyundai Hero of the Season Award," which will be presented to the Power player that is the team's most valuable player, based on fan votes at on-site kiosks at each home game throughout the season. The area Hyundai dealers will make a donation to a charity of that player's choice in a presentation at the final home game. In addition, during each locally televised home game, Hyundai will sponsor the "Hyundai Hero of the Game," voted on by the game broadcasters, with $1,000 being donated to charity in the name of the winning player at each game.
The sponsorship deal will also feature Hyundai's involvement in two unique grassroots programs. Hyundai will be the presenting sponsor for the New York Power Mall Tour, which will feature an interactive soccer cage, allowing mall visitors to test the speed of their kick. In addition, at each mall selected Power players will meet with fans to sign autographs and answer questions.
Hyundai will also host five free soccer clinics in the tri-state area, where kids can come out and learn from their favorite Power soccer players. Dates and locations for the free clinics are to be determined.
