Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release
PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons are currently in the midst of their longest road trip of the season, going over a month between home games. The team has found a way to stay involved with fans through last week's "Dinner with a Falcon" date auction, which gave fans the chance to bid on a night out with their favorite players.
Quay Street Brewing Company and Restaurant sponsored the event, giving winners and their chosen player a free meal at the downtown restaurant. The Fighting Falcons rose over $600 for meals, equipment and other expenses associated with their long stretch away from McMorran Arena.
Applebee's restaurant will hold a fundraiser for the team Tuesday, February 19, when they donate 10% of the total bill of anyone who presents a flyer that has been passed out at recent Fighting Falcons home games. The flyer is also available to download on the team's Facebook page, Port Huron Fighting Falcons - NAHL.
The Fighting Falcons return to home ice Friday, March 15th when they take on the first-place Soo Eagles at 7 p.m. at McMorran Arena. Tickets are available for just $7 at the McMorran Arena Box Office. For more information, call the Fighting Falcons' front office at (810) 966-3800.
