Kannapolis, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators, minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are proud to announce the addition of FIREWORKS following EVERY Friday and Saturday night home game during the 2009 season at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium off of Exit 63 on I-85. Last season, the Intimidators held eleven firework shows. This season will see 23 firework events including the areas best display on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4th.

"In celebration of our 15th anniversary in Kannapolis, we have decided to salute the area with 23 firework extravaganzas, including July 4th and Team USA on July 2nd." stated Randy Long, General Manager of the Intimidators. "Combined with our other promotional calendar events, this is just another way to pay back our community by offering local family entertainment at reasonable prices."

The Intimidators open the 2009 South Atlantic League season Thursday April 9th at home against the Asheville Tourists. Single game and season tickets are available by calling (704) 932-FANS or logging on to www.intimidatorsbaseball.com.
